A major act of generosity was witnessed during Bol News Sehri Transmission, where PKR 1.15 billion was donated to JDC Foundation by prominent U.S.-based businessman Amyn Narsi and Pakistani-American business tycoon Ali Sheikhani.
The contribution marks a powerful moment of giving during Ramadan, reinforcing the spirit of compassion and unity that defines the holy month.
General Secretary Zafar Abbas expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support, reaffirming his unwavering trust in Allah. He also highlighted that JDC continues to operate without spending on luxury fundraising events during Ramadan—ensuring that every donation directly benefits those in need.
The generous donation will significantly expand JDC Foundation’s impactful welfare initiatives, including:
- Free blood testing laboratories across Karachi
- Dialysis centers in Sialkot
- IT cities in Karachi and Lahore, providing free education to over 18,000 students
- Pakistan’s first tuition-free A & O Level school
- A large-scale mortuary facility to serve communities with dignity
For over two decades, JDC Foundation has remained committed to serving humanity without discrimination. Zafar Abbas also appealed to Pakistanis around the world to continue supporting the organization’s mission and be part of this ongoing journey of impact.
This landmark contribution by Ali Sheikhani and Amyn Narsi stands as a testament to the power of collective generosity—turning compassion into action and creating lasting change for communities across Pakistan.
